Natural Coffee Wood Bird Perch, for Small to Medium Parrots
Sustainable, and ultra-durable, Coffee Wood Perches are made from 100% reclaimed Coffea canephora trees that have become dormant and are no longer producing coffee beans. A natural wood surface that offers a variance in diameters and textures, Coffee Wood Perches bring a touch of nature’s beauty to your bird’s environment and allows them to pick what’s comfortable. The irregular shape promotes healthy foot care and is an ideal strategy in helping to prevent bumblefoot (pododermatitis). Perch Placement Is Vital
The size, dimensions, materials, texture, diameter variations and number of perches provided within the bird cage are extremely important. These are often neglected and underrated, but are a critical consideration. A minimum of 3 different perching materials and varied dimensions should be offered to your bird in his cage.
How to Care for Your Coffee Wood Perch
The 100% natural coffee wood surface is sanded until smooth, yet not slippery. The smooth wood is warm and secure for birds’ feet. The perches are easily cleaned, so they’re more sanitary than most other wood perches.
Cleaning
- For spot or daily cleaning, simply wipe clean with a damp soft cloth.
- For a deeper clean, scrub with a regular soft scrub brush, soap and some hot water.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly.
