Octopus, Enrichment Parrot Toy, for Medium to Large Birds

Item #: 81012 | UPC: 0-80605-81012-9

Preening and Foraging are an important part of a parrot’s daily routine. Extruded granules, sticks, seeds or other treats can be embedded within some preening toys to offer a combination of preening with foraging activity. This may appeal to a parrot that has less experience with preening; helping to encourage essential grooming. HARI Smart.Play Octopus encourages companion parrots to preen and chew the straw palm fiber braids and multi-coloured plastic beads. This can help prevent feather plucking or over grooming. Birds will have fun removing the balsa cork plugging the the empty coconut, which can be stuffed with foraging materials such a crinkle paper or shredded tissue paper to encourage foraging. It is easily installed/hung with the included lead & zinc free, nickel plated quick link and chain.
